For the third year running, the Swedish Association of Health Professionals Award is being presented to members who, through their courage, knowledge and commitment, are helping to shape healthcare towards a more sustainable and patient-safe future. As in 2026, the 2027 prize will be presented at the Framtidens Hälso & Sjukvård. In 2026, the prize was presented by, amongst others, the Minister for Health, Elisabeth Lann, and Sineva Ribeiro, Chair of the Swedish Association of Health Professionals.

Directors General, heads of government agencies and leading representatives from healthcare and public welfare will gather as the programme is launched for this year’s four parallel events focused on the public sector, healthcare, procurement and digitalisation. The agenda includes how AI can move from pilot projects to practical value, how preparedness can be strengthened, and how public welfare can be developed for the future.

When the doors closed at the Kistamässan on 22 January, the organisers could look back on two intense and successful days. Four leading events – Lösningar för Offentlig Sektor, Upphandlingsdagarna, e-Hälsa+MVTe och Framtidens Hälso & Sjukvård – brought together over 4,600 enthusiastic participants and 250 exhibitors. The result: record attendance, a bustling exhibition floor and a strong sense of optimism for the years ahead.

This question takes centre stage as the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR), in collaboration with e-Hälsa+MVTe and Framtidens Hälso & Sjukvård, organises ‘SKR’s Forum for the Future of Health, Care and Support for Older People’ for the third year running. The conference will take place on 20 January 2026 at Kistamässan in Stockholm.
